“Irma is the new Divine” “What the world needs is more Irma” “VaVaVoom!!” “Irma was a godsend” "Hubba hubba" "Watatow! You are gorgeous!" "The sass was free" "STUNNING" (reactions from Ohana, Luau at the Lake, June 2025) and a "werq of art" says the Toronto Star (Sept 2025)!
About
Beginning at Viljo Revell's City Hall, Irma will take walkers south to Mie van der Rohe's Toronto-Dominion Centre (66 Wellington St. W.) as well as work by I.M. Pei, Edward Durell Stone and Santiago Calatrava. Walking south, tour-goers will view work by local architects such as John C. Parkin before encountering Frank Gehry's towers and a masterwork by Bjarke Ingels. Adaptive reuse of heritage buildings will be highlighted along the way.
Irma promises plenty of sass and architectural gossip, but most of it will be about dead architects who can no longer fight back or sue her. While Irma will be wearing heels, she encourages walkers to wear comfortable shoes for the tour.
SUNDAYS ONLY - 1 PM to 2:30 PM
